Discover Polestar’s Latest Celebration of EV Performance in the 476 HP Polestar 2 BST Edition 230

The Polestar 2 BST Edition 230 is an updated version of the Polestar 2 sedan from Polestar, a renowned electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer. It will have improved performance both inside and out. The new model is an extension of the fame achieved by the Polestar 2 BST Edition 270 from the previous year. It will provide even more distinctive characteristics. Its manufacturing will be restricted to only 230 units, making it a truly exclusive automobile.

The debut of the Polestar 2 was as a 2021 model, which occurred three years ago. Since then, it has grown in popularity, selling over 100,000 copies by late 2022. The BST Edition 270 was unveiled in the summer of 2022. It was immediately out of stock after being on sale to the general public.

Many of the same performance enhancements present in the BST 270 will be incorporated into the Polestar 2 BST Edition 230. They have a front strut-tower brace, enhancing the front suspension mount’s stiffness. This allows it to retain steering precision during high-speed driving. All of Polestar’s current add-ons will also be a part of the new model. They include the Plus, Pilot, and Performance Packs and improved “BST” tuning.

The Polestar 2 BST Edition 230 will also have 20% stiffer springs, an external reservoir, two-way adjustable Dual Flow Valve (DFV) dampers from Öhlins, and a lower ride height than the original model. It will also have black 21-inch alloy wheels that are designed to accommodate Pirelli P Zero Tires.

The Polestar 2 BST Edition 230 will perform similarly to its predecessor. Despite the improved design elements, it has 502 lb-ft of torque, 476 horsepower, and a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 4.2 seconds. Moreover, it will be the first EV to use MicroSuede textiles derived from recycled Nubuck in its body. The vehicle will also come with Polestar’s distinctive Green Nebula exterior paint.

The production of the Polestar 2 BST Edition 230 will be limited to 230 units. They will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis through the automaker’s website in North America and Europe. Buyers can customize their limited-edition Polestar 2 starting at $79,500 MSRP, with delivery commencing in Q3 of this year.

The limited-edition Polestar 2 vehicles, in the opinion of Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath, give the automaker a quicker and more innovative means of experimenting with colors, graphics, and materials. In addition, it provides consumers with a level of rarity and customization usually only found in supercars. The Polestar 2 BST Edition 230 is generating a lot of buzzes ahead of its launch. The strategy appears to be successful, as the BST Edition 270 is rapidly selling out.
